I really don't like writing biographies.

Oh well, here goes.

I have been an Oracle weenie for some years now, occasionally delving into internals, but mostly interested in good database design and writing well performing SQL.

There's also the thing with Perl. Perl is a largely misunderstood and maligned language, except among those of us that use it, and have our scripts running in production while others are still trying to figure out how to do what they need.

Perl is like that.
